STATIC VEIL StaticVeil is a sprayable metallic coating system using a specially formulated, non-oxidizing copper as the conductive agent. Developed for use as an RFI/EMI shield for plastic electronic equipment housings. 599-A8219-IPC can be used on acrylic, ABS and structural foams, e.g., Noryl, Valox, etc... as well as solvent-sensitive substrates such as polycarbonate and polystyrene. |

All our copper paints are water-based, non oxidizing and all are highly conductive. Our coatings exceed all current US Government FCC requirements, including "tempest" specifications. Coating performance under various environmental conditions has been tested and recognized by UL Labs. StaticVeil, conductive coatings are formulated to serve many end applications. Some examples include" EMI/RFI shielding, ESD susceptibility protection, composite aircraft lightning protection, ground plate for composite vehicles, flexible coatings for conductivity and shielding on flexible circuits, conductive paste/ink for membrane switches and circuits, conductive wall paints for shielding rooms. It offers equivalent shielding of other materials at 30% of the cost, offers better adhesion and flexibility with minimal change to the dimensions of the end products. Among the advantages over Nickel Acrylic coating are better attenuation at about 50% of the dry film thickness, increased mask life with a 400% reduction in the need to clean masks, improved mixability and sprayability, and better color differential on dark substrates. |
